Tarot Blog, day One

To practice and become comfortable with my website, I am drawing a few Tarot cards from my first deck. I may change decks from time to time and change the number of cards.

Today’s cards are The Moon, The Devil, and The Emperor. Interestingly, I drew 3 major arcana cards. The Moon is generally very positive, indicating intuition and unconsciousness, but can also indicate illusion and unclarity. This reminds me of Neptune. The Devil indicates pleasure, addiction, materialism, and playfulness. You need to keep an eye on The Devil, this reminds me of Mercury. The Emperor is about structure, ambition, rationality, and reminds me of Saturn.

My interpretation is this is a good group of cards for my first blog. Additionally, tonight is the new moon, which is a good time to start a new practice. Drawing all acana cards are significant, showing me that these can indicate a major influence on my blog. The Moon indicates that it may increase my intuition, or maybe it expresses my uncertainty of how this will go. The Devil says, “You may fail, can I distract you with my games.” Which I admit that I am easily distracted. Yet The Emperor is telling me to create a schedule with structured activities, work hard, and stay the course. You can succeed.
